Notes

• The DFM valley cover (lifter oil manifold with the DFM solenoids) is an electronic part and is not included. We recommend replacing your original with a new one for a Factory DFM build. For a DFM Delete build, use the AFM delete valley plate below instead.
• AFM/DFM delete: the delete option requires a tune after installation. The tune is the customer's responsibility.
• L87 recall: GM recall 25V-274 covers some 2021-2024 L87 engines; check nhtsa.gov/recalls with your VIN first, you may qualify for a free repair. On our L87 builds, the connecting rods and crankshaft are inspected and replaced as needed.

Break-in

The first 1,000 miles are the break-in period. Use conventional oil only, change the oil and filter at 500 miles, vary your RPM, and avoid towing, heavy loads and long idling. Check your oil level regularly, since some oil burn-off is normal until the rings seat. Following the break-in procedure is required to keep your warranty.

Warranty and core

Warranty: 1-year unlimited-mile warranty on the engine only; labor is not covered. Optional 3-year extended warranty available for $1,500 (includes labor coverage at $50/hr). See our Warranty & Refund Policy. Add the 3-year extended warranty to your order.

Core charge: a core is required. Price includes a $1,500 refundable core deposit. Return your old engine within 30 days of delivery, complete and rebuildable (not cracked, holed or seized, main caps included), and we refund the core deposit after inspection. We pick up cores free from a commercial address or freight terminal. All engines are built to order.
